The new gameplay trailer joins an array of upcoming titles shown off during Ubisoft's Forward event, including Rainbow Six: Extraction, Far Cry 6, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, and more.
These activities will be spread over several maps based on famous North American national parks, including Yosemite, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Sequoia Park, and Mammoth Mountain. The main crux of the experience sees players roam a giant open world, performing crazy stunts, competing in intense downhill races with friends, and enjoying high-octane, team-based competitions.
Unfortunately, the developers revealed earlier this year that they needed more time to fully capitalize on the project's ambitious concept, delaying the game indefinitely. Riders Republic first made its debut back in September 2020, initially penciling in a February 2021 release date for the extreme sports MMO. The trailer concludes with the confirmation that players can register for a chance to take part in upcoming betas slated for later this year.
